Simple rules to make sure everyone has a great time. Please read before your first session.
DNA Casual Football is built on respect, fun and good football. These rules exist to protect every player and make sure everyone — regardless of level — enjoys their session.
All sessions are 5-a-side. Teams are selected by DNA staff on the night — no picking sides, no captains. Teams are balanced as fairly as possible.
We'll tell you before the session whether to wear a light or dark top. Make sure you have both available. We provide bibs but a matching base layer helps.
All skill levels are welcome. No shouting at teammates, no aggressive tackles, no ego. This is casual football — the vibe matters as much as the result.
Direct free kicks for fouls. No slide tackles allowed. Dangerous play results in an immediate yellow card. Two yellows or one red = removed from the session. No refund for dismissals.
Sessions start promptly. Please arrive 10 minutes before kick-off. Players arriving more than 10 minutes late may not be admitted. No refund for late arrivals.
Goals can be scored from anywhere. No goalkeeper — open goals only. First team to 5 goals wins. Games rotate so every player gets equal time.
Keep phones off the pitch during play. DNA staff may film sessions for social media — let us know before the session if you don't want to appear.
Violent conduct, discrimination, or abuse of any kind results in immediate removal and a permanent ban. No exceptions. See our zero tolerance policy below.
Play within your limits. Inform the session organiser of any injuries or medical conditions before kick-off. DNA holds public liability insurance but players participate at their own risk.
No alcohol before or during sessions. Players suspected of being under the influence will not be permitted to play. No refund will be given.
DNA Casual Football operates a strict zero tolerance policy towards discrimination of any kind — including but not limited to race, gender, age, disability, sexual orientation or religion. Violent conduct or threatening behaviour will result in immediate removal and a permanent ban across all DNA sessions. We want this to be a welcoming space for everyone.
